These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Awesome Learning Minds (“the School,” “we,” “our,” “us”) and parents/guardians (“you,” “your”) who enroll their child(ren) (“student”) at our institution. By enrolling your child, you agree to comply with these Terms.
- Enrollment and Admission
Admission is subject to availability and the School’s assessment of whether our programs are suitable for your child’s learning needs.
Parents/guardians must provide accurate information about their child, including medical history, learning needs, and emergency contacts.
The School reserves the right to decline or discontinue admission if essential information is withheld or misrepresented.
- Fees and Payments
All tuition fees, deposits, and other charges must be paid on or before the due dates.
Late payments may result in penalties or suspension of the student’s participation until payments are settled.
Fees are non-refundable except under exceptional circumstances approved by the School management.
- Attendance and Punctuality
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child’s regular attendance.
Absences must be communicated to the School in advance whenever possible.
Frequent unexcused absences may affect your child’s progress and may lead to review of enrollment.
- Health, Safety, and Well-being
The School is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Parents/guardians must inform the School of any medical conditions, allergies, or special care requirements.
In case of medical emergencies, the School may provide first aid and, if necessary, arrange hospital care. Parents/guardians will be contacted immediately.
Parents/guardians consent to their child participating in safe, supervised activities both inside and outside the classroom.
- Code of Conduct
The School expects respectful behavior from all students, parents, and staff.
Bullying, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
Parents/guardians are expected to support the School’s policies and work in partnership with staff for the child’s development.
- Learning and Support Services
The School will provide individualized learning support to the best of its ability.
Where additional specialist services (e.g., therapy, psychological support) are required, parents/guardians may be responsible for arranging or covering the costs unless otherwise agreed.
- Property and Materials
Students are expected to treat school property, equipment, and learning materials with care.
Parents/guardians may be required to cover the cost of replacement for any intentional or careless damage.
- Photography, Media, and Privacy
With parental consent, the School may use photographs, videos, or student work for educational, promotional, or training purposes.
Student information will be handled in line with data protection laws and kept strictly confidential.
- Withdrawal and Termination of Enrollment
Parents/guardians must give at least [insert notice period, e.g., one term] written notice if they wish to withdraw their child.
The School reserves the right to withdraw a student if fees remain unpaid, if policies are not followed, or if the School determines it cannot meet the child’s needs.
- Amendments to Terms
The School reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.
Parents/guardians will be notified of any significant changes.
- Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of South Africa.
